Kerala is experiencing incessant rainfall, leading to rising water levels in rivers and dams. The IMD has issued an orange alert for nine districts due to the expectation of very heavy rainfall. In Palakkad, dam shutters were opened to release excess water, while danger alerts were issued for the Manimala and Mogral rivers.
