normalnormalnormalA group of well meaning persons of Chandigarh today announced an initiative to impart awareness in society, especially amongst the youth, about the need for greater empathy for others.Aptly titled I THINK OF OTHERS (I TOO) the new initiative aims at collaboration with schools, colleges and universities in order to spread the message amongst students in particular that they must spend more time and effort on upliftment of those who are not as fortunate as them.Vivek Atray former IAS officer and TEDx Motivational Speaker said that the new campaign would focus on aspects like, Teaching the uneducated, Environment awareness, Helping the elderly, Creating social awareness about harmful trends and tendencies, cyber security, and adopting balanced and empathetic approach instead of being self-centered.All these aspects would be concretised through seminars, workshops, awareness walkathons, musical events and literary competitions with educational institutions in the months to come.The campaign shall be further spread in association with Rotary Clubs, Suvichar, Novel Bunch, Vibrant form, NSS in schools and colleges, etcMs Saguna Jain, Mr Charanjit Singh, Col DS Cheema and Mr Hardeep Singh Chandpuri also spoke on the occasion and expressed their solidarity with the initiative.normalnormalThe post Think of Others: Awareness Campaign Launched on Empathy for Less Privileged appeared first on Chandigarh City News.
