(File Photo)The owner of a pitbull was booked by the Mankhurd Police after his pit bull attacked a young boy, while the dog’s owner allegedly stood by and laughed.The attack took place around 10 pm on July 17 in the PMGP MHADA Colony. According to police, the boy was playing inside a parked auto-rickshaw when Mohammad Sohail Hasan Khan (43), an AC repair technician and the dog’s owner, allegedly allowed the pit bull to enter the vehicle. The dog reportedly bit the child on his chin and hand. Afterward, it chased and further injured him outside the rickshaw.The video of the incident was shared on social media.Following a complaint, the Mankhurd police registered a case at 3:28 am on July 18 under Sections 291, 125, and 125(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
