The feature had drawn criticism online, with some users saying the avatars were too sexualised.Baby Grok is expected to be a simplified version of Grok that offers safe and educational content for children.Musk’s chatbot, first launched in 2023, is designed as an alternative to tools like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, and Meta’s Llama. It currently includes three modes DeepSearch, Think, and Big Mind which allow users to choose how detailed they want their answers to be.Grok 4, the latest version, was released earlier this month. At the time, Musk said the chatbot could handle complex academic questions “better than PhD level in every subject, no exceptions”. He added that while it sometimes lacks common sense and has not yet invented anything new, this could change in future.The update followed a controversy in which Grok shared antisemitic messages on X, leading to widespread backlash.Many users welcomed the idea of a child-friendly version.
