The IDF claims that reports of hunger in Gaza are part of a Hamas-led campaign. Col. Abdullah Halabi, the senior officer in charge of the humanitarian aid mechanism for the Gaza Strip, told Kan News that the amount of aid entering Gaza is sufficient. “We are making great efforts to bring in aid. The quantity is sufficient and adequate,” he said.According to him, “The images we see from Gaza are part of a campaign aimed at undermining the amount of humanitarian aid entering and our cooperation with the international community.” He added, “Humanitarian assistance is not limited to food—we are also providing medical supplies and support intended to ensure a reasonable standard of living in the Gaza Strip.”
