After 12 NFL seasons, including three with New Orleans, the 33-year-old Louisiana native, known as the "Honey Badger," expressed gratitude for his journey. Mathieu, a Super Bowl LIV champion with the Chiefs, looks forward to coaching and received support from teammates and Saints management.
