I've been reading so many opinions that Proctor failed his chance at test rugby. That he showed he's not good enough for tough teams, will get destroyed by better attacks etc. I think this is crazy. He has been amazing for the Canes all year. He has the soft touches and rugby brain to be an amazing international centre. He made two large errors in the first test against the French this year but was solid in the second. I know he made similar errors in his two tests last year as well but I think that's because his selections were disjointed. What he needs is time! Give him multiple matches in a row and we'll start to see how good he really is. At least the next 4 matches. An added bonus is that next year he'll be playing with Jordie again and they can cement that partnership. What are y'all thoughts? submitted by /u/thoro431 [link] [comments]
