President Dr Irfaan Ali on Saturday pledged that the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) government will create another 1,000 jobs in Region One (Barima- Waini).The Guyanese Head of State also pledged that the salaries of Community Service Officers (CSOs) will be increased and educational opportunities will be available to them so they can elevate themselves.The President made these announcements at a public meeting in Moruca on Saturday.Supporters at the public meeting in Moruca (Photo: News Room/ July 19, 2025)President Ali opened up his address at this engagement focusing on the investments made by the government over the past five years for the country’s young population.
