Samsung’s new phone has a leather pattern and 50MP OIS camera

A few days after teasing its new lower mid-range phone, Samsung launched it today. It is the Galaxy F36, and it is a rebranded version of the Galaxy M36 that was launched a few weeks ago. The Galaxy F36 keeps all the specs of the Galaxy M36, but gets a new material on the back.The Galaxy F36 will be available exclusively through Flipkart and Samsung India's websites. It is priced at INR 17,499 (~$203) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and INR 18,999 (~$220) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It comes in three colours: Coral Red, Luxe Violet and Onyx Black. For the time being, Samsung is offering a coupon of INR 500 (~$5.85) on the phone. In addition to this, if you buy the phone using a credit or debit card from any major bank, you can get an instant discount of INR 1,000 (~$11.61). It has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus+ panel. The phone comes equipped with the Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB/8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It runs One UI 7.0 (Android 15) out of the box and will get six major Android OS updates and security updates for up to six years. It features Circle to Search, Gemini, and AI-powered… On the front, the Galaxy F36 has a 13MP selfie camera. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Its front-facing and primary rear-facing cameras can record up to 4K 30fps videos with EIS.The phone's 7.7mm frame is made using a plastic frame. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
