Although there has been no formal announcement, the TN HSC and SSLC supplementary exam results are expected to be released by the end of this month. Once released, students will be able to access their results on the official websites at tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in.This year, the supplementary examinations for Higher Secondary Examination (HSE +2 – Class 12) were conducted from June 25 to July 2, while the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC – Class 10) supplementary exams were held between July 4 and July 10. Subsequently, the results are expected to be released around the last week of July.To check their marks, candidates must enter their registration number, date of birth, and the displayed captcha code on the login portal. Here’s a step by step guide:Step 1: Visit the official website at tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link for “Tamil Nadu Class 10th or 12th Supplementary Result 2025.”Step 3: Enter your registration number and date of birth in the specified fields.Step 4: Click on the “Get Marks” button.Step 5: Your TN 10th or 12th supplementary result will be displayed on the screen.Story continues below this adStep 6: Carefully review the details and download a copy for future reference.The Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exam 2025, held between March 3 and March 25, saw an overall pass percentage of 95.03%, reflecting an improvement of 0.47 percentage points compared to the previous year. A total of 7,92,494 students appeared for the exam, of which 7,53,142 cleared it successfully.Gender-wise performance analysis shows 4,19,316 girls and 3,73,178 boys had registered for the exam. Among them, 4,05,472 girls passed, registering a pass percentage of 96.70%, while 3,47,670 boys cleared the exam, resulting in a 93.16% pass rate.When categorised by school type, private institutions recorded the highest pass percentage at 98.88%, followed by government-aided schools at 95.71% and government schools at 91.94%.Story continues below this adIn subject-wise centum scores, 135 students scored full marks in Tamil.
