Comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi has shared a story about the health challenges his wife, Daphine Frankstock Idringi, faced after the birth of their last child. His revelation came as a show of solidarity with Mama D, who gave birth to twins over the weekend and is currently seeking help after developing pre-eclampsia during childbirth.In a post on X, Salvado recounted how his wife suffered from a severe case of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a rare but serious pregnancy complication characterised by extreme, persistent nausea and vomiting. The condition left Daphine hospitalized for over four months.My wife underwent a severe Hyperemesis Gravidarum on our last born that she was hospitalized for over 4 months. She lost a lot of weight because whatever she ate or even smelt, she’d vomit. It became so bad that the doctor asked us to pray. She almost lost her life, but thankfully she came through successfully.While Daphine eventually recovered, Salvado revealed that their baby had complications at birth and had to be placed in intensive care for several weeks.
