Anwar Raja, a prominent AIADMK leader, has joined the DMK. He made the move in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin. Raja, critical of AIADMK's alliance with the BJP, cited concerns over Hindi imposition and state autonomy. He believes the BJP aims to weaken AIADMK before targeting DMK.
