Highlights:On the evening of 19 July 2025, A ceasefire agreement was reached between all parties with orders of withdrawal of armed groups and deployment of the special security forces to stabilize the security.A ceasefire agreement was reached between all parties with orders of evacuation of armed groups and deployment of the special security forces to stabilize the security.As of 20 July, at least 93,400 people were displaced within As-Sweida and towards Dar’a and Rural Damascus governorates, the majority of them were displaced mainly within As-Sweida Governorate.A Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) convoy loaded with some UN humanitarian assistance entered As-Sweida Governorate on 20 July, delivering critical food, water, medical supplies, and fuel amid ongoing access and security constraints.Hospitals and health centers in As-Sweida are out of service, widespread shortages of food, water and electricity, and reports of unburied bodies raising serious public health concerns.Humanitarian access to As-Sweida remains highly constrained. While corridors have been discussed, actual physical access has not been fully secured for large-scale humanitarian operations.UN and humanitarian partners are delivering food, nutrition, health, water, protection and NFI assistance to displaced people residing in newly established reception centers in Dar’a and Rural Damascus.MOFA has approved another humanitarian convoy facilitated by SARC to leave Damascus on 21 July to reach the affected people in As-Sweida.
