In Q1 2025, Samsung managed to jump from the third to the second position in the Indian smartphone market. Well, the South Korean tech giant seems to have maintained that position in Q2 2025 as well.Canalys has published a report analysing the Indian smartphone market in Q2 2025. According to it, Samsung shopped 6.2 million Galaxy smartphones in the country during the period, giving it a 16% market share and the second position on the chart. In comparison, the South Korean tech giant shipped 6.1 million Galaxy smartphones in Q1 2025 and had a 17% market share. That means Samsung grew by two percentage points last quarter compared to the one before. In the first place is Vivo with 8.1 million shipments and a 21% market share. In Q1 2025, the Chinese brand shipped 6.2 million smartphones and had a 17% market share. That means it grew by an immense, 31 percentage points.In the third, fourth, and fifth places are Oppo, Xiaomi, and Realme respectively.
