Music producer Big Davie has stepped in to clarify the ongoing controversy surrounding the song “No One,” which has caused tension between the camps of sSheebah Karungi and Ava Peace, the latter working closely with Jowy Landa under manager Jeff Kiwa. The confusion erupted after Sheebah, who is gearing up for her concert dubbed The Return of the Queen scheduled for 22nd August 2025, announced that she would be releasing two songs, Somebody and Nobody, ahead of the concert. While Somebody has already been released, Nobody was still in the pipeline. To the surprise of many fans, Ava Peace and Jowy Landa released a song earlier this week titled No One, a track that bears striking similarities to Sheebah’s Nobody. The overlapping song versions raised eyebrows online, with netizens questioning who truly owned the track and how it ended up in both camps.Speaking in an interview, Big Davie, the producer behind ‘No One’, revealed that he originally worked on the demo with lyricist Lyrical Tazzy and voicer Latty Wizzy. We were three people on that song, Lyrical Tazzy, Latty Wizzy, and myself. That same day I got information that Latty Wizzy needed a song, and because he’s my boy, I agreed to give it to him. He then sold it to Sheebah for Shs 450,000. The following day, he told me Jeff liked the song. I communicated that Jeff had bought the song, but Tazzy had already sent it to Sheebah too. That’s where the confusion started. Big Davie confirmed that a few days later, Jeff Kiwa proceeded with recording the song with Ava Peace and Jowy Landa, and even received an official receipt for the purchase.“I made a receipt for Jeff and also gave something to Latty Wizzy,” Davie noted, implying that the song was sold to both camps unknowingly.
