Such was the magnitude of his success that, by his own admission, he went a “little crazy”. But, soon afterwards, life got him back on track. In a recent interview, Ravi shared that in the early 2000s, every film that he starred in was turning into a silver jubilee hit, meaning that ran in theatres for at least 25 weeks. He admitted that he was starting to behave in an obnoxious way because of his success, which was why his wife made him sign up for Bigg Boss.In a chat with Raj Shamani, Ravi shared, “I had gone a little crazy. All my films were silver jubilees. Films are now in cinemas for a couple of weeks, but back then, all my films would be in theaters for 25 weeks. So one is bound to go a little crazy.” He added, “Humko lagta tha kaat le kisiko.” Ravi shared that he had achieved this after a lot of struggle but his wife sensed that he was going overboard. “And at that time, my wife sent me to Bigg Boss for 3 months and locked me in.”When asked what humbled him afterwards, Ravi shared, “I encountered a lot of obstacles in life. My father died. Two of my older brothers died at a young age.
