Howard started his career at Arsenal‘s academy but never managed a senior appearance, with the likes of David Seaman and Jens Lehmann ahead of him in the pecking order.He also played for the likes of Swansea, Blackpool, Sheffield United and Bolton.Howard also had a short loan stint at Salford in 2019 – five years after the Class of 92 took over – where he played three times.
