Not to mention pay rent for the entire place? Nope. When I had a roommate I paid half the rent, and had access to the entire place except for her bedroom (not that I wanted access to her bedroom.) She had a small boy, and he knew he wasn't allowed in my room unless invited, and he was actually pretty good about it. The main issue we had was that she expected me to help clean up messes even if she was the one who made them, whereas I was a firm believe in "you made the mess, you clean it up." Most of the time she cooked and I cleaned the kitchen, as she was a way better cook than I was, except for one thing - if we wanted spaghetti, I made the sauce because she was the only person I'd ever encountered who burned spaghetti sauce when made in a slow cooker, and mine was much better than hers anyway. We stayed good friends even after I moved out.
