A brand new Carbon Garden just opened at the world-famous Kew Gardens in London and it was designed by none other than Maltese architect Jonathan Mizzi of Mizzi Studio. The garden, which had its press launch today, is part of a permanent pavilion project that explores how plants and fungi can help fight climate change.Built using sustainably sourced materials and inspired by nature’s own design, like the water-trapping pitcher plant, the garden captures rainwater to nourish its surrounding rain-fed landscape. This isn’t the first time Mizzi has worked with Kew Gardens either, he also designed their Family Kitchen restaurant back in 2021.Have you ever visited Kew Gardens?•
