If you are looking to adopt a large energetic dog anyway, why not get paid $50 per day to help pay for food and vet costs? (Not that I think the poster is actually planning to pay $50 per day, $18,250/year. They are likely not thinking that far ahead and will eventually ghost you with their dog and stop paying, and still expect to show up whenever they want him back.)
