I had someone do that ole scam to me in Cleveland. He said he needed money for a greyhound. I told him I didn't have any, he needed $8. So he showed me a nearby ATM and said he'd pay me back... so he had in theory $12 to pay me back... for the $8 I was to give him. I told him the good news that he had enough for his ticket. Annnd she lost his shit screaming so I walked away. Definitely an attempted robbery but still a funny story
