Liverpool manager Arne Slot has backed Harvey Elliott to shine for Aston Villa after completing a deadline day move to Villa Park.Elliott joined Aston Villa on an initial season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy for a fee of around £35m, conditional on appearances. The midfielder was allowed to leave after struggling for regular first-team football at Anfield. He started just twice in the Premier League last season, but shone for England at this summer’s u-21 European Championship. He was always doing whatever was best for the club and he deserves a big compliment for that. That is partly the success of the team and I think he is ready to show his quality at Aston Villa.”Read – Slot gives update on Isak fitness ahead of Liverpool debutSee more – Slot suggests Liverpool with return for summer transfer targetFollow The Football Faithful on Social Media:Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube | TikTokThe post Slot backs Liverpool departure to shine for new club first appeared on The Football Faithful.
