There’s several exciting fillies in the races who will be hoping to stake their claim to be future Classic contenders.Lee Sharp has picked out three bets from the card.talkSPORT BET welcome offer – Get £35 in free betsThursday Doncaster racing tips2.25 Doncaster – Moon Target @ 7/43.00 Doncaster – Danielle @ 11/44.10 Doncaster – Wechaad @ 7/12.25 Doncaster – Moon Target @ 7/4Nine runners go to post in the May Hill Stakes, with nine exciting two-year-old fillies lining up. This race has been won by Desert Flower and Inspiral in recent years, and it remains to be seen if any of these will prove as good.If there is going to be one of that calibre, it could come from the same silks as Inspiral, with the Cheveley Park-owned Moon Target.Trained by Sir Mark Prescott, she won her debut in impressive fashion and followed that up with another excellent performance while carrying a penalty. She suffered the first blip of her career last time out at Goodwood in Group company.Off the bridle early, she never looked suited to the undulations of Goodwood, yet still managed to finish close to the winner. She may still end up being the best horse in the race. Doncaster is a much simpler track, and here she will have the chance to demonstrate her class.3.00 Doncaster – Danielle @ 11/4The second of the two Group Twos is the Park Hill Fillies’ Stakes, run over one mile six and a half furlongs.John Gosden has won this race four times in the last ten years and has four declared for this year’s renewal. His four-year-old filly Danielle is the top-rated horse in the field and, while she hasn’t won since April of last year, she has an excellent chance. She has only had one run this season, which came in the Lillie Langtry. Up against race-fit rivals, she was beaten by less than a length by a three-year-old to whom she was giving 10lb.That was a career-best performance despite only finishing second, and it showed that she is still improving. With that run under her belt, she should come on for the outing. Gosden clearly targets this race, and Danielle will no doubt be primed to peak here. She enjoys some cut in the ground, and she is likely to get it. She sets the standard and should be good enough to win this Group Two.4.10 Doncaster- Wechaad @ 7/1The Roger Varian-trained Wechaad has shown gradual improvement in his three starts in novice company and now enters handicaps off a mark of 82.His latest run came over seven furlongs for the first time, where he saw the trip out well and finished second to the Andrew Balding-trained Venetian Prince, who was making her second start, having previously finished sixth in a strong maiden at Newmarket on debut. It looks like Wechaad bumped into a good one there, but he ought to have a great chance here off what could prove a potentially lenient mark.Thursday’s horse racing tips2.25 Doncaster – Moon Target @ 7/43.00 Doncaster – Danielle @ 11/44.10 Doncaster – Wechaad @ 7/1talkSPORT BET welcome offer – Get £35 in free bets18+ New Customers.
