A drunk school chaperone was caught on camera after acting out at Universal Orlando Resort.While alcohol is very much available at Universal Orlando Resort, it goes without saying that all three of its theme parks – Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe – prohibit inebriated disorderly behavior.Credit: UniversalHowever, that hasn’t stopped some guests from indulging a little bit too much on Universal property.Universal Guest Arrested After Acting Drunk and Disorderly at Theme ParkOne such case was filmed by the Orlando Police Department at Islands of Adventure – home to popular attractions such as Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, VelociCoaster, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, and The Incredible Hulk Coaster. In a video captured in May 2024 (but only just shared on YouTube via Cop Action on Cam), a school chaperone is shown drunk, with a police officer claiming that she was being “very touchy.”The guest in question was trespassed from the property for a year. Upon hearing the news, she is shown trying to book an Uber from Orlando to Miami before seemingly growing emotional.An official from the school is then shown telling the woman that her son would remain with the group and not leave with her from the theme park. The woman then complains that she was unable to get on a single ride during her time at Islands of Adventure, before engaging in an argument after being told to book a Mears shuttle.“I ain’t doing that s**t,” she remarks. “Are you out of your mind?”Credit: UniversalShe then goes on to demand her son, only to be told by a police officer that they don’t feel comfortable leaving him. She is later told that she will be arrested if she remains on the property, but she continues to refuse to leave.Another member of her party then explains more of her disruptive presence at the park to the police, claiming that she had vaped on the bus and in front of children. As the woman continues to refuse to leave, she is arrested for trespassing.The woman ultimately pleaded no contest at her first appearance and was found guilty of trespass after warning. She was given credit for her time in jail but was also ordered to pay a fine.Other Drunken Theme Park ArrestsOf course, this is far from the first time a guest has been arrested for similar behavior at Universal.Credit: Universal CityWalkBack in 2022, a woman took off her bra, exposing her breast to a guest in the Universal parking garage, after being escorted by security from Hard Rock Live Orlando. She was arrested for trespassing and pleaded not guilty.Nearby, Walt Disney World Resort has also fielded its fair share of guests behaving badly.Earlier this year, a man was arrested at Disney World on the morning of New Year’s Day when he stripped down to his “undergarments” and then proceeded to break a sales kiosk. He was charged with third-degree felony mischief as well as two misdemeanors for disorderly intoxication.Credit: DisneyIn 2024, a drunken guest who had previously fallen into a planter begged police to arrest her at Disney Springs. She was charged with disorderly intoxication.That same year, a male Disney parkgoer was arrested at House of Blues Orlando in Disney Springs after acting unruly.
