Mohali: GMADA issues 45 clearance certificates at special camp, addresses residents’ grievances

A total of 45 clearance certificates were issued during the event, including letters of intent, completion certificates, architectural controls, building plans, promoter registration certificates, and zoning plans.The camp was presided over by Vishesh Sarangal, Chief Administrator, who personally handed over the documents. While the primary objective was to issue clearances, several residents of ongoing projects also raised their grievances before the authority. Sarangal listened to the complaints and assured quick redressal. “Most of the matters were resolved on the spot. Cases requiring deliberation will be addressed at the appropriate level on priority,” he said, directing officials to ensure timely resolution.Reiterating GMADA’s commitment, the Chief Administrator emphasised, “The authority is fully committed to the timely disposal of applications — whether of the general public, promoters, or developers. Continuous monitoring is being done to ensure that cases do not remain pending for long.”Promoters and stakeholders welcomed the initiative, praising GMADA for processing their cases in a time-bound manner.
