Bhupendra Patel, who is also in his second term, will complete four continuous years in the office in a few days but has already overshot Chimanbhai’s tenure. The other Patel CMs included Babubhai Jashbhai Patel, Keshubhai Patel and Anandiben Patel.Leveraging ‘soft power’Even as the Gujarat government is pushing for “Ease of Living” and “Ease of Doing Business”, Vice-chairman of the Gujarat State Council of CII and leading Ahmedabad industrialist Achal Bakeri called for transforming it into “Ease of Exporting 2.0” through “deep-seated reforms”, as per a statement. Bakeri was speaking at the second CII Gujarat Export Conclave that concluded Friday where he stressed on “leveraging Gujarat’s global diaspora and cultural heritage as soft power assets” said a CII statement.
