Last week, a popular tipster claimed that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Pro and the Galaxy S26 Edge will support up to 25W charging, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra will support up to 45W charging, the same as their predecessors, which was quite disappointing. However, since there was no concrete proof about it, we were optimistic that the South Korean tech giant would offer its upcoming non-foldable flagship phones with faster charging speeds. Unfortunately, we finally have proof that we won't get any upgrades.Galaxy S26 series will have the same charging speed as the Galaxy S25 lineupChina’s CQC has certified the Galaxy S26 series. According to it, the Galaxy S26 Pro and the Galaxy S26 Edge support up to 25W charging, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra supports up to 45W charging, as you can see in the screenshot below (via Mohammed Khatri). Chinese brands have been offering smartphones with much higher charging speeds, going as high as 100W, for quite some time now. Only Apple and Samsung were left behind. However, with the iPhone 17 series, even the Cupertino-based tech giant has taken a huge leap, offering up to 40W charging speed. Samsung, on the other hand, has been stuck with 25W and 45W charging speeds for years now. With no upgrade to charging speeds for many years, Samsung fans are quite frustrated with the brand. The same goes for camera sensors; people are not happy with the South Korean tech giant’s decision to use the same sensor again and again for its flagship smartphones. We hope that Samsung offers the Galaxy S26 series with significant upgrades in other aspects to keep customers happy. The post This Galaxy S26 series battery aspect may disappoint you appeared first on SamMobile.
