The garden she and her husband nurtured began with baby saplings that have now grown into majestic trees. Amidst this greenery, a sacred Peepal tree stands, where she has built her personal puja space, a peaceful refuge where she often sits to pray or pour out her heart. She even recounts how her mother-in-law performed a ‘parikrama’ of this tree during her pregnancy, and how Rupali continued the ritual herself for 40 days.In her words, hugging the tree is her way to calm a restless mind, a moment of grounding she recommends to everyone. “The tree loves you back,” she says simply.Rupali describes her home as a “good karma place.” Her outdoor kitchen isn’t just for her family, it’s where meals are lovingly prepared daily for stray dogs, feeding many “fur babies” through the help of her staff, rickshaw driver, and valet.Inside, her living space bursts with life and personal touches. Walls are painted in joyful shades of yellow and red, colours that evoke the traditional haldi-kumkum, and are inspired by New York taxis. Alongside hang artful nods to the Manhattan skyline and Charlie Chaplin, her cinematic muse.A Brahmasthan, or central “power spot,” bathes in sunlight, energising the space with positivity. Her interior strikes a delicate balance: homey yet purposeful. The makeup corner, furnished with a yellow sofa and thoughtful lighting, is simple, functional, and welcoming. Her personal living room doubles as a workspace, meditation nook, and even a place to unwind with her pets.Rupali lives her values through everyday choices. She adopts sustainable habits, from taking bucket baths instead of lavish showers to avoiding fast fashion, reusing containers, and opting for organic fabrics. This eco-conscious approach extends to her home as well, where many furnishings are repurposed rather than purchased new. Her mantra? “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.”Story continues below this adRupali shares that she “can’t function without my fur babies.” She fosters dozens of strays both at home and on set, feeding them and advocating each to be treated with kindness. “Adopt, don’t shop,” is her mantra. For more lifestyle news, click here to join our WhatsApp Channel and also follow us on Instagram© IE Online Media Services Pvt LtdTags:Rupali Ganguly
