In his application, Rohit Rupapara has referred to a post that was shared by the AAP leaders on a social media platform two days ago. The post stated, “Youths on the road against power in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and now Nepal…When will the youths of India wake up?” Rupapara has alleged that by such a post the AAP leaders “are inciting youths to take to the streets and protest which could be detrimental to the peaceful atmosphere of the country”. Kamrej Police Inspector A D Chavda said, “We have received the application and we are looking into it.” Rupapara could not be reached over the phone.Marking PresenceDuring the debate over the Bill to amend the Factories Act, introduced by Industries Minister Balvantsinh Rajput in Gujarat Assembly on Wednesday, an interesting development happened. Even as Rajput started speaking, he was stopped by Speaker Shankar Chaudhary, who pointed out that none of the senior officers of the department concerned with the subject were present in the officers’ gallery of the House. The Speaker said, “When a minister presents a Bill it is not just his Bill. It is of the government and the department’s Bill. Senior officers of the concerned department should remain present here. None of your senior officers are present.” The Speaker then instructed Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rushikesh Patel to immediately instruct the Chief Secretary and ensure the presence of the concerned officers.Stay updated with the latest - Click here to follow us on Instagram© The Indian Express Pvt LtdTags:ahmedabadNepal
