When planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, many guests put a lot of planning into what they will wear. Some guests go strictly for comfort, since their days will be long and exhausting. Others decide to DisneyBound as some of their favorite characters, meaning they will dress like a Disney character, but their outfits will consist of everyday clothes. DisneyBounding has become incredibly popular in recent years. One guest is going viral for an outfit she wore on a Disney World vacation last year, and her outfit went above and beyond. She recently reshared the video, not reminiscing over her outfit, but because it was so over-the-top that it actually got her kicked out of the theme parks.Credit: DisneyRelated: A Complete Guide to DisneyBounding On Your Walt Disney World VacationTikToker utterly_jewelz shared a video of herself dressed as Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog (2009). The dress she wore was absolutely stunning, and she clearly put a lot of work into the outfit. Unfortunately, cast members thought she looked so much like Princess Tiana that they could not allow her into the parks. In the video, she is seen being escorted through the Ticket & Transportation Center by a cast member. A family even stops, and their kids want to talk to the woman, but the cast member tells them that she can’t. @utterly_jewlz This was one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life #fyp #disney #viral ♬ original sound – utterly_jewlz Related: Disney Cracks Down on DisneyBounding; New Restrictions MadeThe comments on the video were turned off, but former Disney cast member Tyson Blatter saw the video and gave his opinion about what exactly happened.Tyson said that Disney cast members have a very strict set of rules to follow, rules that don’t apply to guests. He said that, if he didn’t work at Disney, he would have believed that the woman was Princess Tiana, and that was the problem. Guests looking like they could work at the theme park could pose a safety risk to both guests and cast members. He also said that, while the woman didn’t appear to have bad intentions, others who dressed up like characters could. Some guests could get taken advantage of by unscrupulous guests who would do something like charge money for photos. @t_blatt She seems so sweet!! #disneyparks #disneyadult #themeparks #disneysecrets #dcp ♬ original sound – Tyson Blatter Related: 15 DisneyBounds we’re loving from the #BoundtobeVillainous ChallengeWhile Tyson chose to think the best of the woman, many of those who commented on his post did not agree. Many people accused her of having “Main character syndrome” since she knew what the rules were and chose to ignore them. She definitely knew what she was doing and why. Main character syndrome.Others agreed with Tyson and pointed out that guests dressing up just like characters can pose a serious safety issue to young children. How many little kids, upon seeing their favorite character, would willingly walk off with them, because they felt safe with them? Probably way more than we’d think, tbh.Not everyone has good intentions with children. This could be such a huge problem, if they allowed it.She looked beautiful, but time and place is not Disney during a regular day.Credit: DisneyRelated: The 10 Must-Have Indiana Jones Items To DisneyBoundDisney has very clear rules when it comes to what guests can wear while visiting the theme parks.
