(Express File)US President Donald Trump on Tuesday informed about the trade negotiations with India and said that his administration is continuing to negotiate a deal with India in order to address the trade barriers between the two countries, days after calling the Indian economy “dead” and warning that India and Russia seemed to have been “lost” to China.Trump’s shift of tone was highlighted in his post on Truth Social where he also said that he is looking forward to interacting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the “upcoming weeks” and expressed optimism that they could finalise a trade deal.In the Truth Social post, Trump said, “I am pleased to announce that India, and the United States of America, are continuing negotiations to address the Trade Barriers between our two Nations.
