The 20-year-old New York–born artist, best known for tracks like Romantic Homicide and Here With Me, has been active on social media, updating fans about his concerts.His team released a statement saying he’s cooperating with authorities but will continue with his shows. He also has another stop in Los Angeles later this month. The car carries Texas plate and was towed around five days before the body was discovered.It came from the Bird Streets area in the Hollywood Hills. According to KTLA5, the LA County medical examiner’s office responded to the scene, however, the gender of the victim is yet to be determined. The singer has around 2 million Instagram followers and roughly 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify.According to WWD, he was dropped as brand ambassador for Crocs and Hollister following the news. “We are aware of this developing story. With respect to the current situation, we have removed campaign content featuring D4vd while the investigation continues,” the brands said in a joint statement. The campaign, released on September 3 featured the singer in the brand’s “Dream Drop” collection, marking their first collaboration.
