MOD NOTE: Please don't flood the sub following the conclusion of an event.

Wait 5 sec.

So this was mooted as a suggestion on day 1, by day 2 it was middling but today the sub pretty much broke. Please check the sub before posting something new so soon after an event has finished. We get that you're excited and that world records don't happen every day, but wading through 10 or so different posts all saying exactly the same thing is quite frankly a pain. If there is already a post showing a race result, please don't post the exact same race result. If there is a picture of athlete X with "world champion" in the title, please don't create a post with a picture of athlete X with "world champion" in the title, etc etc. Being a moderator for a track and field subreddit is seriously hard work, particularly during an actual championships. There is absolutely no need to make our job any harder than it needs to be. Thank you. submitted by /u/appalachian_hatachi [link] [comments]
