The U.S. women’s national team will conclude its 2025 schedule against European opponents Italy.Le Azzurre will oppose Emma Hayes’ squad in a pair of fall friendlies on November 28 and December 1 respectively, U.S. Soccer announced Monday. Inter & Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida and Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida will serve as the two venues for the matches.It will mark the first head-to-head meeting between the United States and Italy since the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup.“As we prepare for World Cup qualifying at the end of 2026, we want to play teams from all parts of the world with different styles and different strengths, so getting to play Italy, one of Europe’s up-and-coming teams, will be a great way to end the year,” said Hayes. “This has been a very productive year for our team, learning about each other while embracing our philosophies and standards, so we’re looking forward to two more games against a quality team to continue to grow.”Italy made a deep run at the 2025 UEFA Women’s EURO’s this summer, falling to eventual champions England in the semifinal round. They are currently ranked No. 12 in the FIFA World Rankings.These matches will be the USWNT’s first in Florida since 2023 and their 14th and 15th overall this calendar year. The Americans are riding a five-match winning streak heading into their next international window in October. Portugal will oppose the USWNT twice on Oct. 23 and 26 respectively before a third and final match of the window takes place against New Zealand.
