He called for the “dissolution of Parliament” and an early election in the UK, arguing that the current government had failed to protect the British public. “We don’t have another four years,” he said. “Something’s got to be done.” The remarks drew applause from the crowd but condemnation from critics, who accused him of stoking extremism. British authorities claimed fewer than 150,000 people attended the march, while organizers insisted “millions” turned up. Police said 24 people were arrested for assault and violent disorder after 26 officers were injured in clashes.Kirk, 31, was gunned down on Wednesday while addressing students at Utah Valley University.
