DCP Tiwari said that “20 quarters and 20 bottles of illicit liquor were seized”An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Delhi Police has been transferred after a woman accused him of “inappropriate” behaviour on Saturday when her shop was being raided by the police, officers said.The officer has now been line attached and an internal inquiry has been initiated against him, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Hemant Tiwari said.According to the police, the incident happened in the early hours of Saturday.They said that around 9.30 am, the police control room received a call from Lajpat Nagar area. “Around 9.30 am, a PCR call was received regarding the sale and consumption of illicit liquor by some individuals and the same was marked to the ASI for necessary action.”The police said that a team, along with the ASI, reached the spot and raided.
