After 4 long years of being tortured with unimaginable stress, mounting legal bills, and having his name dragged through the mud by so-called state and national “reporters,” 84-year-old U.S. Veteran and 2020 MI GOP Elector, John Haggard, died yesterday shortly after Michigan District Court Judge Kristin D. Simmons dismissed eight felony charges against him and 15 of his fellow electors. Mr. Haggard was reportedly hospitalized with heart issues. The Charlevoix Republican Party posted the announcement about the tragic passing of John Haggard:We are deeply saddened to have learned of John Haggard’s passing on the very day the lawsuits against him and his fellow electors were dismissed.John Haggard has been a pillar of our community, not only as a Republican but in trade organizations and charities.A veteran, husband, and father. A presidential elector, a national delegate, and state committeeman. A leader, a mentor and advocate. He wore so many titles, and his legacy will live on in the history of our community. We send our deepest condolences to Phyllis and the entire family for this great loss.Democrat AG Dana Nessel’s political persecution of these elderly electors has taken an emotional, (likely) physical, and financial toll on all of them. One of the electors reportedly appeared in court yesterday on Zoom from a hospital bed, while Clifford Frost and his wife celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary, all of them knowing that in one moment, the judge’s decision could have destroyed their lives. The charges, which were brought by Michigan’s toxic Democrat-activist Attorney General Dana Nessel, were finally dismissed by a judge who restored faith in our justice system and became a symbol of hope in a nation so distrustful of judges who rule based on political affiliation and not by the rule of law.Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) appointed Judge Kristin D. SimmonsIn rendering her decision, the judge explained to the court that it would be “weird” for the electors to pose for a photograph after signing the alternate slate of electoral votes for President Trump if they believed they were committing a crime. The full story can be found here:BREAKING: In a STUNNING Decision, Governor Whitmer-Appointed Judge Dismisses Outrageous Case Against 15 Michigan Alternate 2020 Trump Electors/*!
