Disney knows this, and without warning or explanation, it continually raises the prices for its Lightning Lane passes. Credit: Inside the MagicNow that we’re in the middle of September, Disney expects significantly lower crowds; therefore, it has lowered the prices for all Lightning Lane passes. Disney also knows when to expect high crowds, and now we know just how much Disney plans on charging those crowds to use the Lightning Lane. While the Lightning Lane prices remain relatively steady throughout September, the prices start to tick up in early October. Disney expects larger crowds over Columbus Day Weekend and the weekends leading into Halloween. Early November brings New Jersey Teacher’s Weekend and Veterans Day, ending with Thanksgiving, which will continue to increase the crowds. For a Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Magic Kingdom on September 14, you’d pay $27—that increases to $37 on October 4, the first Saturday of the month. At EPCOT, the current price is $19, which will increase to $26 on October 4. You’ll pay $27 for Hollywood Studios, which increases to $29. Finally, the current price at Animal Kingdom is $17, which increases to $22. The price at Magic Kingdom increases from $379 on September 14 to $429 on October 4. EPCOT’s cost rises from $189 to $239. Hollywood Studios’ price increases from $329 to $339, and Animal Kingdom’s price increases from $179 to $189.
