I don't know if this is a good deal financially or not - I know nothing of the horsey business. But I once had an elderly neighbor who was "a former LEO with a wealth of information". He was a loud, annoying blowhard who had to constantly regale everyone in earshot with his "facts" (aka, opinions) on everything under the sun. I would hate to be that guy's caregiver (aka, captive audience).
