Bill Bender•Texas A&M senior Bryce Anderson suffered a serious injury after a collision with Notre Dame tight end Eli Rairdon in the second quarter of Saturday's game against Notre Dame. Anderson – a senior safety – appeared to be unconscious on the field after the hit. Trainers brought out a stretcher after the hit. Anderson was down on the field for almost 10 minutes Anderson hit Rairdon after a deep pass, and his helmet appeared to be down on the hit. According to Inside Zone's Matt Fortuna, "Texas A&M medical personnel took Anderson's face-mask off." He was in a neck brace but gave a thumb's up when being carted off the field.
