If you’re planning to visit one Disney park for Halloween this year, you may want to check that you’re getting the full spooky package.Disney is a magical destination at any time of year, but its parks are particularly impressive during seasonal celebrations – including Halloween. At Walt Disney World in Florida, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party transforms Magic Kingdom with trick-or-treat trails, rare character meet-and-greets, and the fan-favorite Boo-to-You parade featuring villains and the Headless Horseman. Disneyland Resort offers a celebration at Disney California Adventure Park, where Oogie Boogie Bash sells out on an annual basis (even if this year’s tickets took longer to shift than usual).Credit: DisneyAcross the Pacific, Tokyo Disney Resort embraces Halloween with elaborate overlays (including Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare), themed merchandise, and much more freedom for adults to wear costumes than is standard at other Disney parks around the globe.Disneyland Paris also joins in the spooky magic. While its Halloween season starts at the beginning of October, which is considerably later than in Anaheim or Orlando, it still highlights iconic villains during its Disney Halloween Festival. Guests can encounter Maleficent, Captain Hook, and others in the Mickey’s Halloween Celebration parade and meet-and-greets.Credit: Disneyland ParisThis year, The Lucky Nugget restaurant is also getting a Halloween makeover, which will see it adopt the temporary new name of The Unlucky Nugget. It will also introduce a brand-new treasure hunt, presented by M&M’s.Another new addition for 2025 is Halloween-themed projections down Main Street, U.S.A. Fresh off adding super bright HD LED video projectors along the street for the debut of Disney Tales of Magic in January, the park is putting its new tech to good use come nightfall. However, not everybody will get to enjoy this spooky new addition.Credit: Disneyland ParisDisneyland Paris will reportedly only feature these Halloween projections on Main Street, U.S.A. on select dates in October and November. To be specific, projections will be offered on October 4, 5, and 11, and from October 19 through November 2.Needless to say, Disneyland Paris fans aren’t overjoyed by this revelation. As one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, “The whole season but actually just half. What’s the point of not offering the same experience to everyone ??”Credit: DisneyGuests have complained about other money-cutting measures at Disneyland Paris in the past. Last winter, for example, fans were shocked to learn that from November 16 through January 5, some Disneyland Paris attractions – including Autopia and Cars ROAD TRIP – would open later in the day than usual in what appeared to be an effort to reduce operational costs during the slower winter season.Meanwhile, the decision to replace Disney Junior Dream Factory at Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be Disney Adventure World) with a “character moment” called Minnie’s Musical Moment also met with backlash. As one X user put it, “Is this a theme park or a cruise?”Credit: Richard Poppelaars, FlickrFans have also complained about the apparent neglect to Disneyland Park at the resort in recent years, with the theme park not receiving a new attraction in well over a decade. On the bright side, plenty of new additions are on the way to Walt Disney Studios Park in the coming years. Long lambasted as Disney’s most disappointing theme park, it’s receiving a major facelift that will see it welcome World of Frozen in 2026, plus a new land inspired by The Lion King (1994) – complete with a water ride –  and Tangled (2010) and Up (2009) attractionsAre you visiting Disney for Halloween this year? The post Confirmed: Disney Scrapping Halloween Celebration For Several Days in October appeared first on Inside the Magic.
