Samsung officially began rolling out One UI 8 on September 15, with the Galaxy S25 series being the first to receive the update. The company hyped up the release by highlighting the big new features of One UI 8, which is based on Android 16. But perhaps even more exciting for Galaxy fans, Samsung has also shared a list of devices that will be eligible for the update in 2025. This list, tucked away in the footnotes, isn’t completely comprehensive: a couple of models, such as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, don’t appear on it. Samsung has also left out region-specific lineups, like Galaxy F and Galaxy M smartphones. Still, it gives us a good idea of Samsung’s update roadmap and suggests that most eligible devices will have One UI 8 by the end of 2025. The only disappointing part is that every device except the Galaxy S25 series will get the update from October.Galaxy phones and tablets getting One UI 8 in 2025Galaxy S seriesGalaxy S25Galaxy S25+Galaxy S25 UltraGalaxy S25 EdgeGalaxy S24Galaxy S24+Galaxy S24 UltraGalaxy S23Galaxy S23+Galaxy S23 UltraGalaxy S22Galaxy S22+Galaxy S22 UltraGalaxy Z seriesGalaxy Z Fold 6Galaxy Z Flip 6Galaxy Z Fold 5Galaxy Z Flip 5Galaxy Z Fold 4Galaxy Z Flip 4Galaxy FE (S/Tab)Galaxy S24 FEGalaxy S23 FEGalaxy S21 FEGalaxy Tab S10 FEGalaxy Tab S9 FE/FE+Galaxy Tab seriesGalaxy Tab S10 seriesGalaxy Tab S10 LiteGalaxy Tab S9 seriesGalaxy Tab S8 seriesGalaxy A seriesGalaxy A56 5GGalaxy A55 5GGalaxy A54 5GGalaxy A36 5GGalaxy A35 5GGalaxy A34 5GGalaxy A26 5GGalaxy A25 5GGalaxy A17 5GGalaxy A17Galaxy A16 5GGalaxy A16Galaxy A15 5GGalaxy A07Galaxy A06 5GGalaxy A06Galaxy A73 5GGalaxy A53 5GGalaxy A33 5GAs mentioned earlier, this isn’t a complete list of devices getting One UI 8.
