Sunil Grover and Aamir Khan came face-to-face after the former went viral for acing Aamir’s mimicry during a recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. In a new promotional video for Aamir Khan’s upcoming production Happy Patel, Sunil is once again seen mimicking Aamir — but this time, he manages to fool Vir Das and others, hilariously getting Aamir thrown out of his own office.The clip begins with Vir Das entering Aamir Khan’s office. Sunil Grover is seen seated inside, dressed in Aamir’s clothes and completely in character. Although Vir appears confused and initially doubts whether it is really Aamir, Sunil manages to convincingly stay in character and win him over. Sunil immediately greets Vir as Aamir and praises Happy Patel, which marks Vir’s directorial debut and also stars him in a pivotal role. Sunil tells Vir, “I am so proud of you. What film you have made.”Sunil, pretending to be Aamir, even hands Vir a bonus cheque and encourages him to make a sequel. He says, “It is my experience. If the film isn’t a super hit than my name is not Aamir Khan. It will get a Oscar. Take sequel’s cheque.” Soon after, the real Aamir Khan enters the frame, visibly furious on seeing Sunil impersonating him, and asks, “Who is this?” As Vir fails to recognise the real Aamir, the actor threatens to slap him. Sunil then turns to Aamir and asks, “Aap kaun hai bhaisahab?”Vir then points towards Aamir and says, “He is Sunil Grover.” This completely infuriates Aamir, who immediately calls for security. However, the security personnel also get fat cheques from fake Aamir, act confused and end up dragging Aamir Khan out of the room instead of Sunil Grover, making the situation even more hilarious.After Sunil’s mimicry went viral, Aamir had praised the actor for his performance. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama in an interview, Aamir said, “I wouldn’t even call it mimicry. It was so authentic, I felt like I was watching myself. I saw a small clip, and now I’m going to watch the whole episode.” He added, “What I saw was priceless. I was laughing so much I couldn’t breathe! There was no malice in it at all. His gag left both the stars in splits.
