(Source: special arrangements)A financier in Punjab’s Ferozepur district, who also owned a salon, allegedly shot dead his wife and two minor daughters before ending his life at his residence on Thursday morning, according to police reports.The deceased have been identified as Mahi Sodhi, aged around 40, his wife Jasvir Sodhi, and their two daughters aged 10 and 6 years, the police said.According to police, the incident in the Harman Nagar area came to light when the family’s domestic help arrived for work in the morning. After receiving no response to the doorbell or phone calls, she contacted the tenants living on the first floor of the building.The tenants and neighbors then forced open the door and discovered the four bodies with bullet injuries lying in the bedroom.Senior Superintendent of Police Bhupinder Singh Sidhu told reporters that the police were investigating the incident to ascertain the motive behind the crime.
