(Express Photo)Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy Wednesday criticised the new parking and pick-up policy implemented at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru.After inspecting the airport, he asked the airport authorities, “Do you want people to spend more money? if it is in your mind, let me know.”According to Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), the daily count of Vayu Vajra passengers has reduced from 14,000 to 11,000 following the implementation of the new policy last month. BMTC buses serve 22 routes across the city from the airport.At KIA Terminal 1, BMTC earlier had two rows with eight bus bays each, but an entire row has been removed. Terminal 1 caters to domestic passengers.Reddy also raised the problems faced by passengers and cab drivers over the new parking policy. “People have to now walk for nearly one km from the arrival area.
