Of course, this has a strong impact on the businesses in Johor Bahru where majority of the sellers in the shopping malls and shops are heavily dependent on the Singaporeans who come visit on weekends. Likewise for the Malaysians who work in Singapore and convert their SGD to MYR at end of month are also on the losing side since they are getting lesser Ringgit than before. It is possible we could see another fall to the 3.0690 price level before a rebound is in sight ! Hang on there!
