I work in probate and honestly some houses you don't want to inherit. Because a family member has died and/or the house is in such a state that it cannot be lived in, fixing it would cost the houses worth and it's added legal fees to sell. As someone who has been to a few long term smokers house even months after death the smell doesn't always disappear without professional cleaning. Like the walls and floor are stained black
