“The price of gas in the United States reached an average of $3.41 per gallon on Saturday, a day after crude oil prices soared to levels not seen since 2023 as the spillover from the U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran continued,” the New York Times reports.“That gain means gasoline has jumped 14 percent in the past week.”
