Yesterday I wrote that “holding above the current levels for 8–12 hours (ideally with a retest of 70,300–71,000 during that period) would confirm the breakout and open the path toward 78,000–80,000.” On the chart I marked the breakout point and the exact place where price made the perfect retest I warned about yesterday. During that retest, price also touched the EMA100. Technically, such a clean setup — a breakout of a horizontal level followed by a retest — often precedes a continuation of the move in the direction of the breakout.
