Full disclosure. I’m autistic too. Ya know when I want toast and don’t feel like clearing off the top of the toaster oven (because someone always sticks the bread up there or something else that will melt!) I just fry the bread on the damn stove. Especially if I’m making eggs for breakfast and my cast iron skillet is already hot. Like, people don’t know toast is just heated up bread? You have to go to the neighbor’s to use the TOASTER? And I know not everyone cooks. I know that. It really is a talent some don’t possess. But the amount of salt, sugar and fat in those prepared foods is enough to flare up anyone’s gastrointestinal woes AND she’s got a catheter? And the artificial color, sugar and carbonated gas in the soda?? Good heavens soda is the worst thing for your intestines even when they’re healthy. There’s no doctor on earth who will tell you to drink soda if you have these ailments. And WTF is it about the soup kitchen? They’re not serving canned spaghetti, hamburger helper and soda at a soup kitchen. They aren’t allowed to! The meals have to have a certain nutritional value. You get iced tea, tea / coffee or water, and children 12 or younger get offered milk. My momma raised me right and taught me to not buy prepared foods because they’re a waste of good money. If I want spaghetti I heat up water, boil noodles and make sauce from canned or fresh tomatoes. If I want rice I make rice. And why use garlic salt as table salt?? Especially when garlic salt costs 10 times more. This person already knows how to turn on a stove and fry beef / cook noodles. They could be making every one of these foods much more cheaply and healthier from scratch.
